What I Wish I Knew Before Preparing for MSRT
A free guide based on 6 years serving as a Direct Action Section Assaulter with the United States Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team.
When I started preparing for MSRT, I spent countless hours trying to figure out what actually mattered.
Looking back, I wasted time because I focused on the wrong things.
I created this guide to give aspiring candidates the direction I wish someone had given me.
There's nothing to buy here. Just a free guide from someone who made it — based on what I know from 6 years on the team.
I served 9 years in the United States Coast Guard — 6 of them at MSRT as a Direct Action Section Assaulter and my team's lead medic. I became an EMT, completed numerous medical courses including Naval Special Warfare TCCC, and trained alongside special operations forces and federal agencies.
Everything else in the guide points here. If you're serious about MSRT, this is the first step.
